Located on the north side of the Twin Cities, Blaine is one of the fastest growing communities in the state of Minnesota. Blaine has a great variety of recreational activities, businesses, neighborhoods and schools that would are attracting many new home builders to develop in this community. Blaine also offers plenty of reasons to stay close to home. The National Sports Center is a regional and national treasure. This 660-acre campus boosts 52 soccer fields, an outdoor stadium with a 400-meter track, a 250-meter cycling velodrome and the National Youth Golf Center. The Schwan Super Rink is also part of the sports center and is the largest indoor arena facility in the country, with 4 rinks.

Shopping is in abundance in the Blaine region, with the Northtown Mall one of the Twin Cities many regional shopping centers being located in the city. Not far south, residents of Blaine can make a trip to the Mall of America for any extra necessities.

With over 60 parks and 70 miles of trails and sidewalks, Blaine offers a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. From neighborhood parks to athletic complexes, you can enjoy a quiet walk, a ball game, or time in the playground. There are also many highly acclaimed golf courses in the region, including the TPC of the Twin Cities, a tournament level golf course.

Blaine, which is located in Anoka County has residents in parts of 3 different school districts, including Blaine, Centennial and Spring Lake Park. Not only are there great K-12 schools in the area, but there are multiple public libraries and regional colleges as well as major universities within 30 minutes of Blaine.
